Fun research projects for kids!

The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children age birth to 10 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about memory and language development. A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 30 minutes. Babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids receive a fun prize. Vanguard one-on-one sessions on Boulder campus in August

C4C Dining Center August Closure

The C4C Dining Center will be closed from Saturday, 8/11 through Monday 8/20. It reopens on Tuesday, 8/21 from 10:00am – 8:00pm. Normal hours resume on Wednesday, 8/22. The Bakery at C4C will be open for your convenience.

Welcome Gathering and Summer's End Celebration

Join the Center for Multicultural Affairs, the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Resource Center, the Student Outreach and Retention Center, and Career Services as we kick off the new academic year and welcome new and continuing students! LGBT-Inclusive Pedagogy Workshop

This interactive session will cover university and state-wide policies pertaining to the LGBTQ community, including protections for gender identity and expression. We will share and invite strategies for making the classroom more LGBTQ-inclusive, from attendance-taking to designing assignments and handling class discussions that avoid tokenizing and stereotyping. Dealing with Conflict Among and Between Direct Reports​ (a workshop for supervisors)

Instructor: Tom Sebok, Ombuds Office This workshop addresses issues related to the challenges of dealing effectively with conflicts involving direct reports. Mistakes to avoid, methods of gathering information, and communication skills for “crucial confrontations” will be explored.
