Register your child for youth piano lessons at CU-Boulder

Attention parents: CU-Boulder is now offering piano lessons for youth ages 6 to 17 years old. Through the CU-Boulder Youth Piano Program, youth will learn from experienced, College of Music instructors who are supervised by the CU Piano Pedagogy Chair, Dr. Alejandro Cremaschi. Students train weekly with one-hour or half-hour private lessons or one-hour group class depending on age and experience. Fall 2012 lessons begin the week of Sept. 4. Space is limited. CU Book Store Special Hours

The CU Book Store has extended hours to help you purchase your textbooks and supplies. Still in the UMC, on campus for your convenience. Don’t forget you can also shop online at www.cubookstore.com and pick your books up in the store or have them shipped. Saturday, 8/25-Sunday, 8/26, 9 am–6 pm; Monday, 8/27- Wednesday, 8/29, 7 am-9 pm; Thursday, 8/30, 8 am-7 pm. We will also be open Labor Day weekend! See website for complete store hours.

Norlin Faculty Study Open House Aug. 23

The University Libraries would like to invite you to an Open House on Aug. 23, 9:30-11:30 am to tour the new Faculty Study located on the second floor of Norlin in room E206. The Faculty Study offers a central location, contemporary design, adjustable chairs, lockable storage, wireless, and close proximity to library services for full-time UCB faculty. Purchase your department’s furniture/electronics before they go to auction!

UCB Property Services will have our auction of surplus property/equipment to the public on Saturday, 9-15-2012. Thursday 9-13-2012 is set aside specifically for UCB departmental viewing. This is to give UCB departments a chance for good deals on surplus items before they go on sale to the public. Please contact Property Services for an appointment.
