Fun research projects for kids!

The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children age birth to 10 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about memory and language development. A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 30 minutes. Babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids receive a fun prize. In the work's 36 scenes, music and poetry gracefully combine to portray a love story that takes us on a colorful journey through immense America, its dreams and its legends. Travel from New England to Iowa and on to Colorado where, under the infinite western skies, jazz and the blues unite with the musical traditions of the Native Americans . . . and of Italy.

Earn two credits this fall for music lessons

Earn two credit hours this fall with CU-Boulder's Applied Music Program! Group classes include guitar, piano, and hand drum circle. Women participants needed for paid energy expenditure study

The Applied Exercise Science Lab (AESL) is conducting a study to determine and compare energy expenditure during biking, running, rowing, stair stepping, and resistance training. We’ve finished testing the needed number of men and only need to recruit a few more women. Requirements: 18-35 year-old women, exercise at least 150min/wk, 5 visits, each visit ~1-2hrs. Benefits: determination of VO2max and lactate threshold, $10/hr, breakdown of training zones by heart rate, VO2max, and power. Additional screening questions will be asked upon inquiry.
