Student Emergency Medical Services (SEMS) is a CU student group offering affordable CPR, First Aid, and BLS training to everyone in the CU Community. Sign up on our website. CPR/FA classes are $6 for students and $12 for faculty. We also staff EMTs for your CU-affiliated event! VOLUNTEER with us! We're looking for CPR/FA Instructors, Alcohol Educators, and EMTs. APO is a national service organization centered around three principles: leadership, friendship, and service. We are a student group dedicated to doing service around campus and in the community such as working with the Boulder Homeless Shelter, Girl Scouts of America and Colorado Open Spaces/Mountain Parks. 2012 MCD Biology Graduate Student Symposium on Translational Science and Medicine

The 26th MCDB Graduate Student Symposium on Translational Science and Medicine will be held Oct. 12-13, 2012 at the new Jennie Smoly-Caruthers Biotechnology Building on East Campus. The MCDB Graduate Student Symposium is a biennial event held since 1979 that brings together leading academic and biotechnology researchers for two days of stimulating talks and discussion. Colorado Ski Racing

To provide an opportunity for the students of this university to continue or begin ski racing after high school, even if they are not Varsity caliber athletes; all ability levels are welcome. This program is designed as a stepping stone for building character, friendships, improving team skills, time management skills, physical fitness, mental focus, and attaining goals. Volunteer to teach English on campus!

The Student Worker Alliance Program is looking for volunteers to teach one-on-one English language classes for the Fall semester! Classes meet for one hour, twice a week for nine weeks. Schedules are flexible to fit in between classes, and a foreign language background is not necessary to participate. Celtic guitar, banjo and fiddle concert - Dec. 7

Local favorites Jon Sousa and Adam Agee will be in concert for a night of celtic, folk and traditional goodness. Masters of their respective instruments (Jon on guitar and banjo, Adam on fiddle/violin), this will be their first gig in the U.S. since their recent musical tour of Europe. The show will begin at 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Wesley Foundation Chapel/Student Center located across from the stadium. Attendees are encouraged to make a donation. Suggestions below. Summer Session RFPs for FIRST, Instructional Grants & Online Classes

The Associate Vice Chancellor for Summer Session requests grant proposals for FIRST (faculty-in-residence-summer-term), the Instructional Grant Program and the Online Course Program for Summer 2013. FIRST provides grants up to $15,000 for visiting faculty. Instructional Grants fund CU Boulder faculty to teach a class “new” to Summer Session.
