IAFS 3000, class No. 15666, section 100, session A: June 1–July 2 This interdisciplinary course will examine problems and policies related to climate change, including agriculture, gender, ecotourism and religious conservatism, as well as traditionally studied areas of fossil fuels and political interest groups. Taught by David Zierler from the Office of the Historian at the U.S. Department of State. He is currently working on documentary histories of the Iran-Contra scandal and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

Principal research designer at Microsoft Research, Asta Roseway, talks about her work and the projects Microsoft is looking at in the world of wearable and responsive technologies.

In keeping our clothes in use longer, we reduce overall consumption. This event includes: - Repair truck – Techs repair gear all day – first come, first served. - DIY Repair Station – this is where folks repair their own stuff or broken product we provide. (table w/ materials, tools, manuals, old gear for making repairs.) You fix it, you own it. - A Mobile Retail Store - to buy used Patagonia gear.
