Graduate student welcome/science playlist party Aug. 30

The Gemmill Library of Engineering, Math & Physics is hosting a graduate student welcome playlist party. We’ll provide the speakers, snacks and Spotify; you provide 2-3 songs that get you pumped in the lab, in the library or anytime. We’ll add them to our playlist and play your songs during the night. LGBTQ and Allied Leadership Retreat

The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children age 3 to 7 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about self control and cognitive strategies. Staging Shakespeare in a war zone: Values and consequences

Join the CU Boulder Friends of the Libraries Monday, Aug. 29, in the University Theatre to hear Qais Akbar Omar, author of A Night in the Emperor's Garden, share his experience staging Love’s Labour's Lost in Kabul in 2005. It was the first production of the Bard in Afghanistan in 30 years and also included female cast members.
