Happiness, Connection and Meditation - Smoke purification ceremony and lecture

In this talk, renowned meditation master Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will draw on teachings from his new book, Our Pristine Mind: A Practical Guide to Unconditional Happiness, to introduce principles of meditation to help us gain personal fulfillment and emotional satisfaction. 'Guests of the Flowers' lecture Sept. 13

Join us at the CU Museum of Natural History on Sept. 13 from 8 to 9 p.m. for another free lecture. TDA Cockerell taught at CU Boulder from 1904-1934 and was considered a world expert on bees. The CU Libraries Special Collections & Archives holds the Cockerell Collection, a unique historical archive that illuminates the research of this early-twentieth-century Boulder entomologist. This short presentation will introduce Cockerell’s research notes, photographs and films in order to highlight his contributions to the study of pollinators.

Retirement party for Laura Border, director of the Graduate Teacher Program
