Public meeting of climate experts July 25

On July 25, seven of the world’s leading climate visionaries and experts will converge at Macky Auditorium to debate the crucial next steps humanity must take to adapt to drastic changes in the global environment. This event is open to the public, is hosted by the WILD Foundation and the International Society for System Sciences (ISSS), and will shed light on expert views within the sustainability movement and uncover new avenues for progress. Are you anxious in social situations? Do you fear meeting new people or public speaking? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a research study at CU Boulder. Participation involves using a mobile app over 10-14 days and completing an MRI scan. Participants will earn up to $90. Female participants needed for paid MRI research study: Earn up to $190

Researchers in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at CU Boulder are conducting a research study seeking to understand the neuroscience of emotion and well-being. Earn up to $190, and get a copy of your MRI on a DVD. Participants must be: • Healthy women OR • Women with a history of depression • Ages 18 - 55 • Willing to participate in two MRI assessments, two months apart • Smartphone users, with a data plan • Have internet access • Have normal, or corrected-to-normal, vision
