Do you know a student between the ages of 11-13 years old?

Students in middle school are invited to participate in a free summer reading enrichment study at CU. Students will learn skills and strategies for reading the types of challenging informational texts they will encounter in school, all the while building content knowledge about Ecology. The program meets June 3-21, from 9-11:45 a.m. in the Center for Innovation and Creativity, 1777 Exposition Dr., Boulder. Students attending the entire 3-week program receive a $50 gift card! Hearing research participants needed

The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking adults age 55 and older with normal hearing or with hearing loss to participate in a study of hearing and memory. Testing will take place on the CU-Boulder campus and will require approximately 5 hours, broken up over two or three appointments. Listeners will be compensated for their time. Summer Sublease May 12-Aug. 19

I am subleasing my room in my four bedroom apartment on the hill. It's two blocks from campus and is in a brand new building with brand new appliances. It has granite counter tops and hardwood floors. There are two bathrooms in the apartment and a washer/dryer as well. Utilities are included in the rent. I'm willing to negotiate on the price.

Italian theatre performance

The Italian theatre class invites you to its annual performance in Italian "Le donne, i cavallier, l'arme, gli amon" freely adapted from Orlando Furioso by L. Ariosto. Everybody is invited. Come join the fun! Free. Refreshments after the show. Old Main Chapel, Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 28 at 4 p.m.

Recess Open House

Online summer term-based courses beginning June 3rd, many options available

Independent Learning offers 5, 8, and 10-week online term-based courses this summer. Many fulfill A&S core requirement. New courses include FREN 1010: Beginning French 1, ITAL 1010: Beginning Italian 1, CLAS 1013/1023: Beginning Classical Greek 1/2, and CLAS 1030: Into to Western Philosophy: Ancient. Summer sublease needed on the Hill- May 15-August 15

My roommate and I are subleasing our two bedrooms in a four bedroom house. The house has two bathrooms,laundry machine, wooden floors, a parking spot, large front and back yard, full kitchen and is a 5-minute walk to CU and very close to Pearl street. The house is in a great location (1OTH AND Grandview) with great neighbors. The monthly rent per room is $775 without utilities (flexible) I am willing to completely furnish my room with items no older than one year old! Pets are ok with an additional monthly fee of $50. The Bro Code

The Office of Victim Assistance partnered with Moving to End Sexual Assault, Boulder County’s Rape Crisis Center, to co-host a showing of the film The Bro Code on April 24, at 6:15 p.m. in Chem 140. The event is free and open to the public. After the film there will be a discussion lead by the film’s creator, Dr. Thomas Keith, a professor in California.
