USA Network’s Characters Unite Tour to be on campus Feb. 25

CU’s Program Council is helping bring to campus the USA Network’s Characters Unite Tour. The idea behind the tour is to engage participants in a social justice campaign to have them take a stand against certain issues in society, and participants will have the chance to use a t-shirt pressing station to make shirts that say "I will not stand for... (ex. hate, violence, bullying, etc.). The event will take place next Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. in Regent Lot 306 (across from the C4C).

Cesar E. Chavez Blood Drive

The Student Academic Success Center Pre-Health Students are organizing a Blood Drive in honor of Cesar E. Chavez. Date: Tuesday March 4 Time: 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Register inside the Fleming Building, 2445 Kittredge Loop Drive, then donate on the Bonfils bus in the Fleming parking lot. Led by Frances Charteris, the course includes visits to museums and architectural sites; photography and film as well as flamenco are covered. Public lecture—The Atmospheric Part of "LASP": Ozone, Nitric Oxide and Solar Influences

In this public lecture on March 5, atmospheric scientist Dave Rusch will provide a historical and scientific review of LASP satellite observations of Earth’s atmosphere, emphasizing two missions (SME & SNOE) with high science return and significant student involvement in both science and operations.
