Colorado Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Symposium March 4-5

The second annual Colorado Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Symposium will take place on March 4 - 5 in the DLC Collaboratory. This year’s Symposium will highlight ongoing debates surrounding current issues in global water and sanitation. Students, faculty, researchers, Coloradan non-profits and internationally prominent development practitioners engaged in the WASH sector will have the opportunity to participate in the debates. While the symposium is free, participants are asked to register through the website.

CU on the Weekend: Post Holocaust American Judaism on March 1

Join David Shneer, professor of history and director of the Program in Jewish Studies, for a look at new kinds of Judaism in post World War II America on Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. in the CU-Boulder Norlin Library British Studies Room. Shneer will pay particular attention to materials now housed at the University of Colorado Libraries Archives "Post Holocaust American Judaism" collection. The March 1 event is part of CU on the Weekend which is free and open to the public.

Join psychology and neuroscience chair Theresa Hernández for a look at complementary and alternative medical interventions for neurological disorders, including stroke and traumatic brain, on Saturday, March 8, at 9 a.m. in Benson Earth Sciences room 180. "Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Turning Anecdotes into Data" is part of CU on the Weekend which is free and open to the public.

Free bus ride to concert

If you and your friends have tickets to a show and want your own private party bus for free, Come to the Bus To Show student group meeting on Feb. 26 in UMC 247 @ 5 p.m. Free pizza, guest speaker and we will vote on the destination for our first free bus. See you there.

Scholarship reviewers needed

The Office of Financial Aid invites you to participate in the selection of our 2014-15 scholarship recipients. As a volunteer, you will review 20-25 scholarship applications during the week of March 18. Applications will be reviewed online; we will email you the links and instructions before March 18. Free Turkish language classes

We are very excited to kick off free Turkish Language classes by the Rumi Club at CU-Boulder. We will meet weekly for an hour or two and start from the very beginning. Classes will be -> given by experienced native teachers -> held in warm and friendly class environment as well as small-size classroom -> supported by individualized curriculum -> complimented by activities.
