Save a penny on your mail

Effective Jan. 26, 2014, USPS is offering a 1 cent discount for all letter-sized mail, from 1 ounce to 3.5 ounces, processed using metered postage rather than stamps. Mailing Services will process your departmental mail, using metered postage, and pass on the 1 cent savings to you. Put your speedtype under the return address, drop it off at your regular mail drop-off/pick-up location (or bring it to our building at 3300 Walnut St, Unit B, Boulder, CO 80301) and we will apply your postage for you at the discounted rate.

Healthy young adults who are highly anxious in social situations needed for research study

Healthy young adults (ages 18-40) who are highly anxious in social situations can earn $10/ hour participating in one 2.5-hour study session held in the Muenzinger Psychology Building at CU-Boulder. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires, perform a challenging social task, and record heart rate non-invasively. Sugar Free Feminism - The Boulder County Bombers: Roller derby culture

Join the Boulder County Bombers in a conversation focused on roller derby culture. Learn about the history of the sport from its beginnings in the 1930s to now. Engage in conversations with the players regarding stereotypes about roller derby, their experiences playing an all women’s sport, and how we can all be better allies to women in sports. An evening of spoken word with Daniel Beaty Feb. 25

The Cultural Events Board would like to cordially invite you to Daniel Beaty - Emergency One Man Show. He will be performing in Glenn Miller Ballroom at the University of Colorado Boulder on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. In his one man show Emergency, Beaty portrays a cast of 40 characters through poetry, multi-character transformation, and song commentating on the happenings aboard a slave ship arriving in New York City. It also includes their varied testimonies on identity and personal freedom.
