University of Colorado sports medicine internship

Great opportunity for students interested in the medical field, athletic training, physical therapy and physician. Gain practical experience in sports injuries, treatment and rehabilitation. Open House Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Dal Ward Athletic Center (north side of Folsom Field). The event will include a presentation of the internship program, a review of the application process and an opportunity to ask specific questions. For more info visit our website under athletics. Bachelor of fine arts degree in performance - Auditions March 8

The CU Theatre & Dance department announces its annual auditions for the bachelor of fine arts degree program in performance. The BFA in performance offers training in the art and profession of acting to motivated and talented students. An audition appointment, application materials and a reference are required. Lyrical Tales from the Far East

The Friends of the CU Libraries invites you to its first event of 2014, Lyrical Tales from the Far East, on Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m., in the Center for British and Irish Studies in Norlin Library on the CU-Boulder campus. Author and storyteller Lindy Soon Curry will entertain with engaging Asian folktales, traditional dress, songs and harp music for all ages. This event is free and open to the public. A light catered reception follows the program. Pay parking available in Lot 380 or the Euclid Autopark.

Sexpressions call for performers

The CU Women’s Resource Center presents: "Sexpressions," a talent showcase celebrating a positive expression of women’s sexuality by women-identified performers. We are looking for all forms of expression: dance, art, spoken word, song, instrumental…be creative. We are currently looking for performers of any type. The Vagina Monologues at CU breaks new ground

Join us to celebrate gender diversity. Saturday, March 1, CU-Boulder students will perform Eve Ensler’s world renowned production of "The Vagina Monologues". The show will be held in the Glenn Miller Ballroom in the University Memorial Center for one night only at 7:30 p.m. “Our production is about responsibility,” said Taylor Fraser, director of CU’s 'The Vagina Monologues.' “Changing the gender discussion is the responsibility of individuals from all sexual identities. 'The Vagina Monologues' celebrates our diversity."

Equity and Excellence Award call for nominations - Due March 19

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement (ODECE) seeks nominations for the 29th Annual Equity and Excellence Awards. This award is designed to recognize CU-Boulder undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty who have successfully and effectively worked to promote the principles of diversity and inclusive excellence in all campus involvement.
