Fall Color Tree Walk

CU Museum of Natural History and Facilities Management will be hosting their annual Fall Color Tree Walks on Oct. 12 and 13 at 5 p.m. with arborist Vince Aquino and retired Outdoor Services Director Alan Nelson. Each tour is designed to be unique. Reservations are not required, and all ages are welcome. Participants will see the colorful foliage and learn the distinctive characteristics and historical significance of different trees on CU’s main campus. Meet by the south entrance to the CU Natural History Museum.

Cleopatra: An archaeological perspective on Egypt’s last pharaoh

Join John Hale as he presents an illustrated tour of the Egypt that Cleopatra inherited from her Ptolemaic ancestors. View her self-chosen portraits on coins and temple walls, learn about her extraordinary achievements as goddess, priestess, queen, civil administrator, scholar, lover, and above all, mother. This free lecture will take place Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Eaton Humanities Building, room 1B50 on CU-Boulder’s main campus as part of the Archaeological Institute of America Lecture Series.

RHA Spotlight Game: CU Women's Soccer versus Cal

Join Residence Hall Association (RHA) and CU Athletics for a RHA Spotlight Soccer Game against California! The match is Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. on Prentup Field (Corner of Colorado and 33rd). A Buff Bus will be provided from the C4C Bus Loop to Prentup Field beginning at 12:30 p.m. The first 150 students to arrive at the game will receive free Half Fast Subs and everyone who attends will have the chance to win a prize. The residence hall that has the most attendance will also win a prize from RHA.

Global seminar: Russian language and culture, summer 2016 - Interest Meeting on Oct. 1

Make summer 2016 unforgettable - Spend six weeks immersed in Russian culture and language in St. Petersburg. The program, directed by Professor Artemi Romanov, includes language courses each morning, and afternoon/weekend excursions around the city and sites nearby, plus a weekend trip to Moscow.
