Natural History Museum workshops for children on Thursday mornings

At the CU Museum, elementary-age children will: Engage in fun, hands-on and stimulating science activities. Touch and explore real museum objects. Enjoy expeditions through museum exhibits and collections. Participate in entertaining activities and games. Make creative crafts and take home projects. For more information visit our website. Each workshop meets from 9am-noon at the CU Museum. Snacks will be provided. The fee is $25 per workshop. Advance registration required.

Call for 2013 Diversity and Inclusion Summit session proposals – due June 19

The Diversity & Inclusion Summit Committee is seeking proposals for the 2013 Summit held at CU-Boulder on Nov. 13-14. Proposals should identify innovative and progressive action toward diversity, inclusion and social justice, and should meet the theme and promote action for “Building the Road Map: Realizing Diversity and Inclusion for CU-Boulder, City of Boulder and Boulder County.” Goals Teach us - To affect the change we want to see Challenge us - To shift our lives and culture Inspire us - To move from talk to action

Research Participants needed at University of Colorado ages 12-21

Research Participants ages 12-21 needed ADAPT is a place for young people ages 12-21 who are worried about experiencing unusual thoughts, suspiciousness or paranoia, or seeing or hearing things that are not there. Earn $25 for participating in a short screening interview. You may be invited to participate in a 2-year longitudinal study ($25 per hour for 7-9 hours each year). Register your child for the Youth Piano Summer Camp

Children (ages 5-7) are invited to learn the basics of rhythm and music reading and more at the CU Youth Piano Summer Camp. Participants learn to play simple, solo and ensemble pieces. They also learn about classical music, instruments, and composers. The camp meets on Mondays and Wednesdays, July 1-17, 9-10:30 a.m. for a total of 6 meetings. Space is limited.
