Upcoming Deadline for OEP Performance Evaluations and Rating Forms

The deadline for submitting completed performance evaluations and rating forms to the Office of Labor Relations (OLR) for all officers and exempt professionals (OEPs) is Friday, June 15, 2012. Please see that a completed and signed performance evaluation and ratings form for each OEP that you supervise has been turned in to the OLR (565 UCB) by the end of the business day on June 15, 2012.

Let the Alumni Association Help You Communicate with Your Alumni

A new service is being offered by the Alumni Association that allows campus units to communicate with alumni via a free email tool, Harris Connect. With this system, your unit will have the ability to segment emails in a number of different ways (such as by geography, class year or major), to send visually appealing HTML-designed emails and to collect a wide range of analytics.

Theoretical physics abounds with ideas about the past and future of the cosmos, the distant reaches of space, and the atoms at our fingertips. Dark matter, dark energy, extra dimensions and infinite universes only scratch the surface of the fantastical worlds that contain our little island of physics. Paid Research Study for Distressed Cancer Survivors

CU Boulder and Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers-Boulder have developed a new "Valued Living for Survivors" group intervention for post-treatment cancer survivors experiencing distress or anxiety. This is a paid research study that includes a free six-session group. Eligibility: - Completed primary treatment (surgery/radiation/chemotherapy) within the past 12 months (continuing on hormonal therapies is OK) - Ability to attend an afternoon group weekly - Experiencing moderate to high level of distress

Anthopology Summer Session B Course Open

ANTH 4020: Contemporary Issues in Native American Life In this course we challenge popular stereotypes while exploring several key issues facing Native Americans and their communities through readings and films with a particular focus on indigenous scholarship and media. We will cover reservation health and poverty, casinos, blood quantum and identity, land rights, language revitalization, comedy and representation in popular and indigenous media, including recent Native American science fiction films. Announcing Sustainability Immersion Leadership Training Program for Fall 2012

Know any top-notch students who are natural leaders and committed to sustainability? The Sustainability Immersion Leadership Training (SILT) program is a two-semester certificate designed for second-year, full-time undergraduates. Weekly meetings involve readings, field trips, guest speakers, workshops, and lectures, followed by a capstone project working with a local community organization. SILT is limited to 15 students. Applications are due June 7 and include an online form, a letter of interest and letter of recommendation.

Do you have annual/vacation leave that will be forfeited on June 30, 2012 due to an over-accrued balance? Consider donating it to the Leave Sharing Program before it's swept!
