Researchers are launching a study exploring the potential of community gardening to promote nutrition, improve active lifestyles and prevent cancer. Seeking individuals over the age of 18 who are relatively new to gardening, and offering financial compensation, the study will work with community gardeners and people on garden waiting lists to measure behavior changes. Perinatal Emotion and Relationships Longitudinal Study (PEARLS) Researchers in CU’s Department of Psychology and Neuroscience are recruiting women who are currently pregnant with their first child to participate in a paid study of their experiences of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. A series of contemplative outings in the foothills surrounding Boulder. We'll have brief moments of setting intention, reflection, prayer, pondering and alternative forms of communion. Ideally, you'll be able to walk up to 4 miles in the high country—up to 2 miles in and 2 out depending on the week. We'll meet at 9:15 a.m. at Wesley Chapel, 1290 Folsom St., at the corner of University Heights Ave., one block north of Colorado Ave. We'll return to campus by noon. Mosaic Gospel Choir's spring concert is Sunday, April 30, from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a potluck supper. The concert will be held at Mountain View United Methodist Church, 355 Ponoca Pl. It will feature the debut performance of a song by Reverend David Sharp, spoken-word poetry by Mosaic founder Reverend Roger Wolsey and special guests Phoenix, Colorado’s trans choir. Admission is free; an offering will be taken for musicians.

Celebrate your accomplishments with the Gender & Sexuality Center as you step into your next journey in life! Students graduating in spring or fall 2017 will be given a rainbow tassel to wear at commencement, and they will be inducted into the GLBT Alumni Chapter of the University of Colorado Boulder. There will be light refreshments provided, and the ceremony is open to family, friends and allies.

Buff Surplus is a website tool to facilitate the exchange and re-use of surplus property between campus departments (lab equipment, furniture, computers, etc.) By using the tool you will help save funding, reduce waste on campus, maximize property utilization and avoid premature disposal of property. This website is a joint effort between eight departments on campus. Faculty and staff are invited to attend a Buff Surplus informational session with free lunch at the C4C Treehouse.
