Now hiring students for summer and 2017-18

The Environmental Center is now accepting applications for summer and fall employment. If you have any intention of working in sustainability after you graduate, the E-Center is the perfect place to launch your career. Why work with us? Just think of all the things that make campus more sustainable. The priority application deadline for summer employment is April 28. The priority application deadline for fall employment is Aug. 10. Taking off for summer? What's the plan for your bike?

CU is offering summer bike storage as well as a donation program. Drop-off your bike between May 11 and 12 at William's Village and Kittredge and between May 8 and 12 at the University Memorial Center. We will then return the bikes the first week of school at the UMC. Bikes left locked to campus racks will be removed.

Fall 2017 internships for juniors and seniors

Center of the American West is now taking applications for our spring internships. We currently have these positions open: History Colorado Center – School Programs Intern History Colorado – Office of Interpretation and Research – Research Assistant Intern Native American Rights Fund – Indian Law Editor/Publisher Assistant Intern The Nature Conservancy – Science and Conservation Intern These 3-credit hour internships require 120 on-the-job hours along with some academic activities. Kimberly Corban to speak on campus April 19

Kimberly Corban will speak on campus on Wednesday, April 19, at 7 p.m. in UMC room 235. Admission is free and open to the public and doors open at 6:30 p.m. The main focus of Corban's talk will be her journey from victimhood to being a self-proclaimed survivor of sexual assault. Turning Point USA at CU Boulder is hosting the event.

First Friday Buff Club is May 5

Join the UMC and The Connection for First Friday Buff Club on May 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. in The Connection (first floor UMC). Women's Wellness paid research study

CU Boulder Psychology and Neuroscience Department researchers are conducting a study designed to help prevent depression, reduce stress and promote health and well-being. Earn up to $225, and get a copy of your MRI on DVD. Participant qualifications: • Women with a history of depression, • Ages 18 to 55, • Willing to participate in two MRI scans, • Smartphone users with data plan, • Have internet access, and • Have normal or corrected-to-normal vision. LGBTQ+ advocate Sam Brinton to give public talk

The oSTEM chapter at CU Boulder is hosting Sam Brinton, a nuclear engineer who also advocates for LGBTQ+ rights in Washington D.C., in a public talk on how to be your own advocate. You must RSVP to attend.
