Friends of the Libraries presents Jack Maness

Jack Maness, associate professor and director of the University Libraries’ Sciences Department, will discuss his trilogy of historical novels set in 1850s Kansas following a 5 p.m. reception on Thursday, March 31, 5th Floor, Norlin Library. The first, Song of the Jayhawk, won the 2015 Colorado Book Award for Historical Fiction, and the second, Where Waters Converge, will be released in March 2016. Come meet the author, discuss the book and hear more about the history of land use on the Plains. This event is free and open to the public.

Museum Family Day - Come see what you can 'C'

In-service day workshop for K-5 - Plants: From fossils to food

Where would we be without plants? From palm fronds dug up near U.S. Highway 36 to plants collected in the high mountains to food growing in our backyards, we'll explore how everything is connected to plants. Spend some time learning about the special relationships between butterflies and plants. You'll go home with a plant press to start your own collection, and some seeds to start your own garden. Can you think of a plant that both you and butterflies would like to eat from your garden? Advance registration and payment required. April 15.

Special low rates are available for children of CU-Boulder students, staff and faculty. Raimy Clinic therapists can provide help for children and adolescents ages 10 to 16 who are struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD or social and academic difficulties, among other problems. Committed couples needed for study - $12 to $24 an hour

Have you been in a romantic relationship for at least two years? Participate in a paid research study. Participate in a video taped discussion and an MRI scan over two visits of 1 and 3 hours.
