Native American Star Lore by Dr. John Stocke Nov 8, 7:30 pm $7 for adults, free for students/faculty with ID, $3.50 for children/seniors Examine traditional star knowledge of the Lakota, Pueblo, and Navajo peoples. The Lakota and Pueblo traditions chronicle the beautiful and ingenious methods they used to keep an accurate calendar and time their religious ceremonies. Explore constellation myths, including the Navajo story for the creation of the stars, and the traditional lives and art of the Navajo people.

CU and CSU faculty researchers are studying children and their food choices. Kid participants will complete a cartoon collage and a taste test. A visit to our research lab at the University of Colorado can be scheduled at your convenience. The research project will be completed in less than 30 minutes. We can arrange for parking, parents are compensated with a $10 gift card for travel and kids receive a fun prize.
