London Finance Seminar Interest Meeting

Live Faculty Talk at Fiske Planetarium

Native American Star Lore by Dr. John Stocke Nov 8, 7:30 pm $7 for adults, free for students/faculty with ID, $3.50 for children/seniors Examine traditional star knowledge of the Lakota, Pueblo, and Navajo peoples. The Lakota and Pueblo traditions chronicle the beautiful and ingenious methods they used to keep an accurate calendar and time their religious ceremonies. Explore constellation myths, including the Navajo story for the creation of the stars, and the traditional lives and art of the Navajo people.

Research Project for Kids 3 - 5

CU and CSU faculty researchers are studying children and their food choices. Kid participants will complete a cartoon collage and a taste test. A visit to our research lab at the University of Colorado can be scheduled at your convenience. The research project will be completed in less than 30 minutes. We can arrange for parking, parents are compensated with a $10 gift card for travel and kids receive a fun prize. CU Museum of Natural History: Focus Group for New Exhibit

Have you ever walked into a museum and been incredibly confused by an exhibit? The colors are boring, or it just wasn't what was advertised? Here is your chance to get a say! Give A Day with the Volunteer Resource Center

Join the Volunteer Resource Center on December 1, 2012 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. for our next Give A Day! Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to sign up for this monthly service project. We will be working with the Sister Carmen Community Center, a family resource center that supports families as they work toward achieving economic stability and build natural community supports.
