South America Winter Break Trip: Free Pizza

INFO MEETING Wednesday-Thursday, Nov. 7-8, Hellems 220 at 5 pm. Want to join your fellow students on an adventure of a lifetime? Come with Creatio to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands! We will be volunteering with the poor in very extreme environments. We will be doing environmental and solidarity work that involves breaching your comfort zones! This is a great opportunity to travel where tourists do not get to go. Come with us on our journey to help the poor and experience something life changing!

Brown Bag: Nuclear Koreas

Join us Thursday, November 15 at 12:00pm in the CAS Conference Room at 1424 Broadway, Boulder CO. Dr. Jerry Peterson, Professor in Department of Physics, will discuss DPRK Nuclear Weapons Development and how the two halves of the Korean Peninsula have pursued very different directions with the opportunities that derive from nuclear fission.

Spend three weeks studying Shakespeare’s work on site – in London! ENGL 3000 Shakespeare for Non-Majors fulfills UD Literature & Arts Core (3 credits). Experience Shakespeare’s plays in the context of their first performances and see some live at the Globe Theater. This program is directed by David Glimp and includes field trips to sites such as Windsor Castle and Shakespeare’s hometown. Come learn more on Monday, November 12th from 5-6pm in Hellems 181.

Israel Global Seminar Interest Meeting

Based in Jerusalem, this 4-week Global Seminar allows students to explore the complexities of democracy, human rights, and social justice in Israel and the West Bank. Students will earn 6-credits through field-based work, classroom instruction and service learning experiences. Open to all majors! Significant scholarships available! Meeting: 12/3, from 5-6pm at the C4C in room S435.
