Submit your art to the UMC Student Arts Program

The UMC Arts Program is looking for new artwork to add to our collection! We're accepting submissions NOW through the end of the semester. Submit online now. Final deadline is Dec. 9. Must be a current CU Boulder student and agree to the submission requirements to submit. Submissions are reviewed by a panel of judges who decides which pieces are accepted and where they are displayed. The UMC covers the cost of framing, hanging and securing the artwork.

Got a baby bump? Paid study for mothers expecting first child

Researchers in CU’s Department of Psychology and Neuroscience are recruiting women who are currently pregnant with their first child to participate in a paid study of their experiences of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, oral arguments

Women Who Make a Difference: Call for nomination

The Women's Resource Center is calling for nominations for the Women Who Make a Difference annual awards. Do you know a woman who makes a difference in your life or in the lives of others? The CU Women's Resource Center invites you to nominate this person for the Women Who Make A Difference award! All nominated individuals will be recognized at the award ceremony held Monday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m. Visit our website to submit your nomination or come to UMC 416 to fill out in person. Attend a three-week field-based Global Seminar in Indonesia that explores the Mentawai Islands off the west coast of Sumatra, the city of Padang and Bali. Learn the ethnographic method, documentary filmmaking and critical media practice while living with indigenous people and immersing in the cultural politics of Indonesia. Program is directed by Dr. Christian Hammons. Earn three upper-division credits for ANTH 3760. Open to all majors. Informational meeting is scheduled for Nov. 30 at 4 p.m. in C4C N215.

Study Abroad: Entrepreneurship and empowerment in South Africa

Want to spend six weeks this summer in South Africa gaining hands-on experience as a consultant? Students form consulting teams with local South-African students to develop deliverables for emerging entrepreneurs in the townships surrounding Cape Town. Led by Erick Mueller and Dr. Mike Morris, students earn six upper-division credit hours for INBU 4925. Credit counts toward BUSN electives and fulfills the Global Experience requirement for GBC. Open to all majors. Interest meeting is scheduled for Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. in KOBL 350.
