'Hurry and Be Still' multimedia performance

Hurry and Be Still—a collaboration between Kevin Michael Olson and Hunter Ewen—examines the conflicting forces of everyday, time-sensitive tasks and the delays these jobs create. A meditation on the nature of "hurry up and wait," the show will feature original music, dance, video and technology by Kevin Olson, Hunter Ewen, the Boulder Image and Sound Network (BISoN) iPad quintet, and dancers, performers, storytellers and artists from the CU Boulder communities. Diversity and Inclusion Summit: Forum on LGBTQ responses to sexual misconduct survey

Come to this session to learn about LGBTQ student responses to the sexual misconduct data. What did LGBTQ students relay about rates of experiences of sexual misconduct, barriers to reporting and gender of perpetrator? What can we do as a university to respond to these victimization rates? This session is part of the CU Boulder Diversity Summit, presented by Julie Volckens, Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, with staff from the Gender and Sexuality Center. Undergrad volunteers needed for lab research on attention, imagination

The Neuroscience of Thought and Emotion Lab is conducting experiments with human participants to investigate links between attention and imagination. Apply to be a lab volunteer, and earn credit by enrolling in independent study (psyc). Come join The Caribbean Students Alliance of Boulder as we recognize the 86th anniversary of the coronation of Ras Tafari and Menen Asfaw, crowned Emperor Haile Selassie I and Empress Menen Asfaw of Ethiopia on Nov. 2, 1930, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Join us Wednesday, Nov. 2, in Old Main at 5:15 p.m. for an evening of entertainment featuring local and international artists followed by an in-depth lecture on the significance of the coronation in Rastafarian faith.
