Register your child for youth piano lessons at CU-Boulder

Attention parents: CU-Boulder is now offering piano lessons for youth ages 6 to 17 years old. Through the CU-Boulder Youth Piano Program, youth will learn from experienced, College of Music instructors who are supervised by the CU Piano Pedagogy Chair, Dr. Alejandro Cremaschi. Students train weekly with one-hour or half-hour private lessons depending on age and experience. Fall 2013 lessons begin the week of September 2nd. Space is limited. Earn two credits this Fall for music lessons

Earn two credit hours this fall with CU-Boulder's Applied Music Program! Group classes include guitar, piano, and hand drum circle. Family Therapy for youth with mood problems

The Colorado Family Project, a group of clinicians and researchers at CU, is conducting a study of family-based therapy for youth with mood swings and a family history of bipolar disorder. Treatment focuses on helping youth and their families understand and cope with mood swings, develop plans for preventing moods from getting worse, communicate more effectively and solve family problems. Treatment is free of charge, and families are compensated for participation in regular research interviews.

Diversity Abroad's Go Global Tour visits campus!

Diversity Abroad, based in California, works to ensure students from diverse backgrounds have equal access and take advantage of the benefits afforded through global education. A representative will be on campus for the study abroad fair and host an event open to all students, staff and faculty. Join us at the fair 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (UMC Fountain Area) as well as for the Go Global main event 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 to learn about study abroad, discover scholarships, and more! A practicum course, EDUC/INVS 2919 invites undergraduates to work alongside K-12 students as they identify and address salient community issues. The course, which has been approved for the Education Minor, Human Diversity Core, and the AmeriCorps scholarship program, will meet on Mondays at either 1-2:30 p.m. or 2:55-4:25 p.m., as well as once weekly at a local school.

Celebrate at Ralphie's Corral Before Every Home Buffs Game!

Bring your family and friends to Benson Field for Ralphie's Corral, a free pregame starting three hours prior to each home CU football game. Mingle with other Buffs fans to get pumped up for the game with performances from the Marching Band and CU Spirit Team. This exciting pregame is hosted by the CU-Boulder Alumni Association and CU Athletics. There will be food and drinks available for purchase, a family fun zone and ample space for you to hang out, relax and celebrate your CU spirit!

Mission Statement: To provide an opportunity for the students of this university to continue or begin ski racing after high school, even if they are not varsity caliber athletes; all ability levels are welcome. This program is designed as a stepping stone for building character, friendships, improving team skills, time management skills, physical fitness, mental focus and attaining goals. Awesome, tons of fun team! Who wouldn't want to ski everyday!?
