Forza Motorsport 4 video game tournament April 11

Join us Friday, April 11, at 7 p.m. and show us how it's done. Our second to last tournament, Forza Motorsport 4 is here. The Connection located on the 1st floor of the UMC is hosting video game tournaments every other Friday this spring. Sign up starts at 6 p.m. and play begins at 7 p.m. There's a $5 entry fee. Prizes for top finishers. Our last tournament is on April 25: HALO 4. Games will be on PlayStation 3, XBOX 360 or Nintendo Wii gaming systems. Tournament formats will be double elimination and/or round robin.

Billiards Tournament, April 17 at The Connection

Take part in The Connection's Billiards Tournament at the Connection 8-Ball Billiards Tournament every other Thursday. Sign up is at 6 p.m. at the Connection Front Desk; play begins at 7 p.m. $5 entry fee applies. Tournaments will run in either double elimination or round robin format. BCA rules apply. Monday night bowling at The Connection

Case of the Mondays? Come have an awesome night with friends and sharpen your bowling skills. Join us every Monday night at The Connection located on the first floor in the UMC. Every Monday, 6 p.m. - close and only $8/person for Two hours of unlimited bowling. Shoes and a fountain drink included. We have new food and drink options as well check out our menu. You have to come check them out. It's a great value you don't want to pass up. Public welcome - bring your friends and family.

Sunday Night Bowling League at The Connection

Every Sunday night it's the Connections' Bowling League. You're welcome to our second night of the semester! Competitive league: 6 - 8:30 p.m.; Recreational league: 8:30 - 10:30 p.m. Tournament consists of 11 weeks of round robin, playoffs and a final competition. Prizes will be available for top finalists! EWB-CU General Meeting, Sept. 4

Want to get involved with community development in Peru, Rwanda or Nepal? EWB-CU is a diverse student organization that needs volunteers from all backgrounds to assist in helping communities abroad solve their health, education and sustainability challenges. Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival celebration

Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most popular traditional festival in China. Mid-Autumn Festival has the day with full moon, which represents family reunion and harmony. Chinese Students and Scholars Association at University of Colorado Boulder holds the annual celebration on Sept. 20, from 6 - 9 p.m. (space will open at 5 p.m.), at Norlin Quadrangle. Please come and enjoy moon cakes, Chinese meal, performances, cultural display and games with us. Free admission.

CU Biodiesel information meeting

Interested in sustainability and alternative fuels? Come to the CU Biodiesel Club's first informational meeting of the semester on Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in ECOT 831. We will be talking about what biodiesel is, our plans for the semester and of course food will be provided!

CU Walks expands to East Campus!

CU Walks invites you to take a free, safe, convenient and social 1.5-mile (30 minute) walk around East campus. We will start at 12 noon on Wednesdays from the south side of the ARCE building. More info

Learn to dance Argentine Tango

Come learn Argentine Tango with the Tango Club at CU. It's fun and it's a great way to de-stress after a long week. Casual dress, but wear smooth-soled shoes or bring socks (you want to be able to slide). Kitchen Table first meeting

Kitchen Table is a casual, social and safe space for women of color and multi-ethnic women on campus. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend. Come and enjoy free food, music and great conversation. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 5 - 6:30 p.m. in the Women's Resource Center (UMC 416).
