Group Fitness Instructor Training

If you enjoy fitness, helping others and working out in a group setting then consider starting a path to becoming a fitness instructor. This 10-week training program, using the American Council on Exercise (ACE) curriculum, provides you with the information, instruction, education, and practical experience needed to become a safe and effective group fitness instructor. GFIT class will meet Mon/Wed, 3:30-5 p.m., 9/9-11/13. The cost is $275 including all study material. Come learn what GFIT is all about. The first class is FREE!

Safe Zone Training

This interactive 2-hour training works to help participants develop a deeper awareness of personal ideas, stereotypes, and assumptions related to LGBTQ and similarly identified communities and helps increase participant's comfort level supporting LGBTQ individuals within the university community. Volunteer Orientation and Training

Use your enthusiasm and knowledge to engage students and families who visit the museum. We are hosting a volunteer orientation next Tuesday - 5-7 p.m. The first hour will be mingling and exploring and then at 6 there will be a talk that will prepare you for teaching in the museum setting.

Most programs are interdisciplinary and open to all majors.
