Crafternoon

Join the CU Women’s Resource Center for an afternoon dedicated to crafts and self-care. With finals just around the corner it’s easy to forget about what YOU need. Relax, laugh, build relationships and make something to take home. This program is open to students, staff and faculty. The next Crafternoon will be Friday, Nov. 8, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. in the Women's Resource Center, UMC 416.

Kitchen Table

Kitchen Table is a casual, social and safe space for women of color and multi-ethnic women on campus. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend. Free Tea Making Workshop Participants will learn how to craft their own delicious and healthy teas, creating their own signature blends from a variety of ingredients, many of which can be grown at home. AIA lecture series: Dec. 4, New Frontiers in Southwestern Archaeology

When we think of the Southwest, we usually think of Mesa Verde and other spectacular ruins of the Four Corners. Some of the most interesting archaeology, however, is out on the edges: Fremont in the north and Mimbres in the south. Join Professor Steve Lekson as he traces the parallel (and divergent) paths of Fremont and Mimbres and illustrates their journey using selected objects and artifacts from the museum’s collections.
