The Friends of the Libraries invites you to its Fall event, American Music Goes to War!, featuring CU’s own Alan Cass, curator of the Glenn Miller Archive. His “time machine” of pictures, words & music, will transport us back to the era when popular entertainment played the important role of “morale booster,” both on the home front and overseas. Looking for a great deal and something new for lunch? During the week of Nov. 4-8, the UMC will offer both to celebrate 60 years of being "the heart of campus." From 7-9 a.m. each morning, we will have 60-cent drip coffee (12 oz) in Baby Doe's (thank you Peet's!). Find lunch specials from the decades all week in the Tabor (Alferd Packer Grill).
