OIE Global Citizen Awards

The Office of International Education (OIE) is pleased to announce the OIE Global Citizen Awards to recognize outstanding contributions to international understanding by members of the CU-Boulder community. The following awards will be given: Campus Global Citizen of the Year, Muneeb Kamal Int’l Student of the Year, and Study Abroad Student of the Year. Boren undergraduate scholarships support study abroad in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Latin American (Europe/Oceania/SAS excluded). The Boren on-campus deadline is Jan. 26 for study abroad during the 2015-16 academic year, so advance planning is necessary. Be a zero waste warrior with Ralphie’s Green Stampede

Join Ralphie’s Green Stampede at home football games and help us keep Folsom a zero-waste stadium and get in to the game for free. Volunteers are needed to staff zero-waste stations throughout the stadium to educate fans about the importance and impact of composting and recycling. Volunteers are on the front line to divert waste from the landfill, helping us get to our goal of 90 percent diversion. Come check out what the zero-waste excitement is all about.
