Conservation biology & practice in Brazil’s Atlantic forest - May study abroad program

Earn three credits this May in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest on a CU-Boulder Global Seminar. Obtain hands-on experience in the principles and practice of conservation biology. Students from a range of disciplines with an interest in conservation are encouraged to apply. This course fulfills the EBIO 4100 major requirement and ENVS’s application and specialization requirements (also offered as EBIO 5100). Study Abroad scholarship opportunity for Pell Grant students

UMC game day bratwurst specials

The Alferd Packer Restaurant & Grill, 1st floor UMC, will be open Saturday, Oct. 25, 10am-12:30pm during the weekend for the game. The Slumgullion Grill offers your favorites plus bratwurst specials: 1 Brat with Kraut on a Bun w/ any size Fountain Drink and Chips or French Fries: $5.99. 2 Brats with Kraut on a Bun w/ any size Fountain Drink and Chips or French Fries: $7.99. The salad bar will also be open. Baby Doe's Coffee & Bakery will be open 11:30am-8:30pm for hot & cold beverages and snacks.

One Million Acts of Green

One Million Acts of Green is for CU-Boulder students, faculty, staff and alumni to build individual sustainability plans, track and report progress, and see the impact of their commitments and measure carbon footprint reduction. There are more than 100 sustainability actions to choose from. Participants can select eco-friendly actions that are already done at home or on campus and can pledge to do new actions. Participants can choose to share actions on Facebook or upload photos. Check it out

Study Finance in London in Summer 2015: Interest meeting Sept. 29

Study international finance in London next summer, with CU Business Professor Roy Baas. This seminar includes lectures from prominent financial professionals and field trips to sites such as Lloyd’s of London, Bloomberg and Paris.
