New global seminar in Shanghai, China, summer 2015

Attend this new global seminar in Shanghai, conducted by history Professor Timothy B. Weston and offered by Study Abroad, the Center for Asian Studies and the Tang Fund. Explore Shanghai’s uniquely important role in modern Chinese history and gain a strong appreciation for both the content of modern Chinese history and for how that history is remembered and made use of in China today. Selected participants will receive a generous scholarship funded by the Tang Fund and the Center for Asian Studies. Interest meeting Oct. 21 5:30-6:30 in UMC 353.

Study theatre, music and culture in Edinburgh, Scotland this summer

Earn three credits in three weeks this summer while experiencing the world's largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, first hand. In addition to staying in Scotland's beautiful capital, students take a five-day tour of the Highlands and a day trip to Glasgow. See the arts in a whole new way. Transcendental Meditation Club meetings
