Spend Maymester in Rome: Info. meeting Oct. 22

“Culture Wars in Rome” is a two-week course led by Priscilla Craven, a senior instructor in the CU-Boulder Italian Department. Students earn three humanities (or elective) credits through lectures and visits to major sites in and near Rome. Spend your Maymester walking, talking, eating, and exploring in central Rome. Global Seminar: Discover the past, archaeology in Greece

Earn six credits in summer 2015 in Greece's Western Argolid on an exciting CU-Boulder Global Seminar. Obtain hands-on experience in the principles and practice of archaeology by working on an archaeological project. You will discover and explore new sites in the territory of Argos in southwestern Greece. Free family therapy: Colorado Family Project

The Colorado Family Project, a group of clinicians and researchers at CU, is conducting a study of family-based therapy for youth with mood swings and a family history of bipolar disorder. Treatment focuses on helping youth and their families understand and cope with mood swings, develop plans for preventing moods from getting worse, communicate more effectively and solve family problems. Treatment is free of charge, and families are compensated for participation in regular research interviews.

Global Seminar: Leading and managing across cultures in northern Europe

Study in northern Europe next summer. Leading and managing diversity in international business is a challenge that managers need to face. The number of interactions that people of different cultural backgrounds have with one another has exponentially increased in the work place. The international business scenario in northern Europe is a natural lab where you can observe, recognize and analyze most of the business concepts and variables at play to manage successfully across cultures. This three-week, three-credit global seminar will begin in Soweto and travel to rural homelands near Kruger National Park. Engage with villagers in a two-day homestay and learn from research experts at the University of Witswatersrand.
