Video Grading : Learners Lunch @ Music

Did you know that you can easily use free software to provide verbal, even musical feedback to students? Written comments on student work can be helpful, but have you ever wished you could just talk to each student individually? Or sit down at the keyboard and play each student through an example? The Bible App: Reading scripture in the third spaces of digital religion

Around the world, millions of Christians now use digital media to engage with the Bible. The Bible can be accessed as a mobile app, played as a game, studied through electronic tools and commentaries and introduced to children on an iPad. This talk suggests some of the ways in which the relationship between religious practitioners and their sacred texts is changing in this shift from page to screen. Finding Ourselves in Stories: How Good Work Happens With Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation

Dan and Deb Morrison, faculty members at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication, will present on their latest project, Science & Memory, which took four professors and 19 journalism and advertising students to Alaska’s Copper River Delta to research and report on climate change.
