Qualtrics: Norlin Learner's Lunches March 11

Qualtrics is an internet-based tool for creating and deploying surveys through websites or email with a wide range of question types. Collect and track detailed data and analyze data with built-in reporting tools through a browser, no additional software to install. Collect information quickly from large groups (classes,organizations) to gather large datasets for analysis. New global seminar in Istanbul, Turkey, summer 2015

Spend two weeks next summer in Istanbul, exploring its multi-ethnic history with professor Nan Goodman. This two-week, three credit global seminar will give you the opportunity to learn about Jewish-Muslim relations alongside local university students, and visit numerous cultural landmarks (including a Dervish Lodge). Open to all majors; learn more (including details about pre-program classes on campus in the spring) at an informational meeting with the director on Jan. 28, from 5 - 6 p.m. in C4C N215.

RefWorks devotees need not despair: Zotero has all your favorite RefWorks features, plus some that work even better. Come to this session for guidance in getting all of your RefWorks citations smoothly into Zotero with the least possible pain, and learn the basics of Zotero's features. Looking for a reference manager that will help you organize PDFs as well as cite them? Mendeley could be the answer you are looking for. Comprising a simple to use interface and streamlined project management capability, you can also seamlessly import from Refworks, Endnote or Zotero. Participate in paid psychology experiments

Tim Curran's lab at the CU-Boulder department of psychology is looking for participants for a multi-part experiment about learning and memory. Participants will be paid $10 per hour, and participants completing all eight sessions within two weeks will receive a $25 bonus. You must be 18-29 years old to participate. Entrepreneurship and empowerment in South Africa interest meeting: Jan. 21
