Flying Club at CU free BBQ @ Boulder Airport

Are you interested in airplanes and/or free food? The Flying Club at CU will be hosting a free BBQ at Boulder Municipal Airport on Saturday, April 18, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.. Relationship groups-real choices Boulder

Do you need new ideas for your relationship? Come into Real Choices every Tuesday in April. Relationship classes will be from 1-2 p.m. in UMC Room 441. Better Boulder, Better World

Better Boulder Better World is one of the Volunteer Resource Center's largest annual service days, and is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow CU peers, as well as make an impact in the larger Boulder community. Join us Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for this great service day!.There will be several projects working with different issues areas including, environmental preservation, food justice, poverty recovery and more. In-service day museum workshop for elementary-age children

Friday, April 17, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. All About Tracks at the CU Museum of Natural History. We'll immerse ourselves in "Steps in Stone, Walking through Time", our interactive exhibit on fossilized tracks. Then we'll move from the past into the present and explore how to identify tracks and other signs that animals leave behind. Dress for the weather becasue we'll be outside for part of the day. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided, but please bring a sack lunch. $60 preregistration required (10% for CU employees/students) 303-492-1666.

2015 Chancellor's Award Proposals through the CSL - Due April 15

The Center for STEM Learning (CSL) invites you to submit your proposal by April 15. Up to $10,000 faculty/staff awards and graduate student awards (part-time, 25 percent during the academic year, 50 percent during the summer) of up to one year are available. Applicants may propose support for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education projects in the early stages, for the coordination of existing projects, or to seed effort that can continue beyond the funding period. Engineers Without Borders-USA Film Festival

The second annual Engineers without Borders-USA Film Festival, is happening on April 11, at 7 p.m. at eTown Hall in Boulder. The film festival showcases engineering projects implemented across the globe by EWB chapters and is an excellent opportunity to learn more about EWB and talk to CU students about their projects. You will have the chance to win cool prizes with our raffle. All proceeds from this event go to fund EWB-USA CU’s water projects in Peru, Nepal, and Rwanda.
