Study Abroad Fair Sept. 3

Come to the Study Abroad Fair and learn about your chance to study, intern and participate in research and service-learning opportunities. We offer hundreds of programs in 65 countries that meet the needs and interests of all students and majors. Join us on Thursday, Sept. 3, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the UMC Fountain to find out more. Recently-returned study abroad alumni and study abroad staff will be on hand to share what it’s like to live and learn abroad, find affordable programs and build your résumé with an international experience.

Fun research projects for kids

The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children age birth to 12 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about memory and language development. A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 60 minutes. Babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids receive a fun prize. Visit the BioLounge - Free coffee and tea

Welcome back students, faculty and staff. We hope you will visit the CU Museum of Natural History's BioLounge for a unique study experience, complete with free coffee and tea. All day, every day. Enjoy our exhibits while studying or relaxing in a truly one-of-a-kind space. We are located directly west of the UMC in the Henderson building. Open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Volunteer Resource Center challenges you

CU-Boulder's Volunteer Resource Center is turning 50. Over the past 50 years, we have worked to create a culture of service and engagement within our communities. We invite you to celebrate both the history and future of the VRC on Oct. 8, 4 to 6 p.m. at the UMC South Terrance Tent. At this event, we will be kicking off our Fifty for 50 service challenge.
