International Education Week: Film screening - 'Coming Out (as LGBT) around the World'

What is it like to have romantic attractions to the same gender in countries around the world? What is it like to identify as lesbian or gay in countries such as Egypt, Honduras, Kenya or Thailand? Join us for a screening of a ground-breaking documentary of people's experiences of sexual and gender diversity in various parts of the globe. CU-Boulder alum, Marine Corps major keynotes Veterans Day Ceremony

With over 400 combat flight hours, 141 combat sorties, and nine medals and decorations of honor for his service, this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony keynote speaker served our country for over 23 years in the Marine Corps. Join the campus and community to honor those who have served on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. for the Veterans Day Ceremony in the Glenn Miller Ballroom. We will be adding the names of two Coloradoans who died while serving this past year as well. The ceremony will be followed by a light reception.

School day-off workshop at the CU Museum of Natural History

Drop your kids off on campus for the BVSD in-service day on Nov. 11. Our topic is: Survivor! Find out what it takes to be a survivor in the Colorado wild as winter expands its grip and begins its cold creep across the land. We'll study specimens to uncover the mysterious ways plants and animals survive harsh winters - run away, hide, or grow thick fur and face it head on.
