Summer workshops at the CU Museum of Natural History

Registration now open. Spend Friday mornings with us exploring and creating. Our newest exhibit Becoming Butterflies will be our jumping-off point to cross-pollinate science and art. Your elementary-age child will visit exhibits, participate in hands-on creative activities with real museum tools and specimens and move through natural areas outside of the museum. Each workshop meets for three hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the CU Museum of Natural History on the CU-Boulder Campus. Healthy snacks will be provided. Each workshop is $30.

Graduation reminders

You must have regalia to participate in Commencement on May 7. Undergraduates should purchase regalia at the bookstore, graduate students may rent regalia at Balch Fieldhouse. See the commencement website for details, http://www.colorado.edu/commencement/. Please line up in Norlin Quad by 7:45 a.m. for the procession, or come early and enjoy a free breakfast, starting at 7 a.m.

'Europe’s Problem with Islam… 500 years ago'

CU-Boulder’s Mediterranean Studies Group presents three scholars: Sabahat Adil (CU-Boulder) Brian A. Catlos (CU-Boulder), and Núria Martínez-de-Castilla (Complutense Madrid) in an event that surveys the experience of the forgotten European Muslims of Spain, their literature and culture, and their post-exile fate.
