GEA Retreat | Get inspired by and immersed in entrepreneurship

In a restaurant not far up Boulder canyon, graduate students, entrepreneurs, angels, VCs, and entrepreneurial faculty will gather to be inspired and connect with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in and around CU. The GEA Retreat will include a keynote by Brad Feld, a number of panels, lunch, breakout sessions, and a cocktail hour to mingle with the creme dela creme! Exercise Your Right to Vote" a night filled with voter registration and 3 free exercise classes! Friday, 10/5, Club 156, UMC. Join New Era Colorado and CU Women's Resource Center to register to vote before the voter registration deadline! Starts at 4:30 pm, food and voter registration! 4:45, free Zumba Class. 5:45, free Cardio Kickboxing class. 6:45, the event will wrap up with a free hip-hop class. Drop in for any class and register to vote throughout the night! Snacks and prizes!

Galapagos Islands Global Seminar interest meeting

Study ecology and conservation in one of the most biologically diverse locations on the planet: The Galápagos Islands! Obtain hands-on experience in principles and practice of ecology and conservation biology. Also included is a visit to the Bellavista Cloud Forest, a rare and endangered ecosystem in Ecuador. Earn three credits on the inaugural voyage of this program next winter interim. Cuba Global Seminar interest meeting

Study Gender, Race, & Political Economy this summer in Cuba. You’ll earn six credits of Ethnic Studies upper-division credit. Visit historical districts, museums, universities, a child care center, Cuba's leading technological and scientific center, and more! There is no Spanish language requirement.
