Please join us Oct. 20 at 7:30 pm in Old Main Chapel for "Rajeev Taranath in Concert." Taranath is one of the world's leading exponents of the sarod. A distinguished disciple of Maestro Ali Akbar Khan, his performances masterfully combine the depth and rigor of the tradition of Hindustani classical music with an inspired imagination and emotional intensity. The two-hour concert will be preceded by a workshop for students and public, which is designed to give them a chance to learn about Indian music and culture.

Anigmatic Productions introductory meeting - CU's Affiliated Animation Club

Anigmatic Productions is CU's new affiliated animation production and support group. Our goal is to provide animators and animation lovers of all kinds a place to work, grow, and appreciate our shared interests. It is an environment where students can work on individual projects while sharing feedback, critique and resources, or work in a group to produce finished films and emulate the experience of working on a "real world" production team. All experience levels welcome (including none!), meets at 7pm on Thurdsays in ATLAS 229.

Energy Conservation Classic

Do you like basket ball, pirate, or energy conservation? Then the Energy Conservation Classic Basket Ball tournament is just for you! CoPIRG Energy Service Corps is hosting a Basket Ball tournament on on campus on October 13th to help raise money to weatherise a local homeless shelter before the first big snowstorm. Each team of three will be charged a twenty dollar registration fee and given a free t-shirt. There are two leagues, the more serious competitive league, and a "just for fun" Pirate league.
