Global Seminar: China Thru TIME interest meeting

Interested in participating on a unique Global Seminar in Beijing, conducted by Journalism Professor Meg Moritz?   You will study news accounts of China from TIME magazine and other US and Chinese media while visiting media outlets and universities, and meeting local journalists and students. Marriage, cognitions and health study - $90 ($30/3 visits)

We are studying how spouses’ attitudes toward their partner impact their marriage and well-being, and want your help. Married men are being recruited right now to take part in exciting new research through the Well-being and Relationship Functioning Lab in the CU Psychology Department. You will be paid $90 ($30/visit for 3 visits, each ~1.5 hours long) to take a computer-based task and complete a questionnaire about your marriage. University Libraries Provost’s Fellowships Deadline Oct 31

Did you know that librarians are often tenure-track faculty members? Here at CU, librarians are heavily involved in research and service, as well as librarianship. By combining your graduate degree with a Master's in Library Science, you can discover an innovative and challenging career. In conjunction with the Graduate Teacher Program (http://gtp.colorado.edu/), the Libraries is offering two $2500 fellowships in spring 2013 to explore academic librarianship as a career. Live Free Weekend - THIS WEEKEND

The Live Free Weekend is a chance for you to live your life free from the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or recreational drugs. To participate, you accept the challenge of no drinking and no recreational drug use for 96 hours. If abstinence is not your goal, we still hope you participate by signing the binge-free agreement; electing not to binge drink while abstaining from recreational drug use.
