Research Participants ages 12-21 needed ADAPT is a place for young people ages 12-21 who are worried about experiencing unusual thoughts, suspiciousness or paranoia, or seeing or hearing things that are not there. Earn $25 for participating in a short screening interview. You may be invited to participate in a 2-year longitudinal study ($25 per hour for 7-9 hours each year). The Child Learning Center (CLC) in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences has openings for typical peers in the Preschool (age 2 1/2-6 years, Mon/Wed/Fri, 8:45-12) and Toddler Group (ages 18 months-3 years, Tues/Thurs, 9-11). We are a high-quality, nurturing, family-centered, and inclusive program focusing on communication, social interaction, and pre-literacy skills. Property Services' live auction of surplus property and equipment!

University of Colorado Boulder Property Services will have our auction of surplus property and equipment to the public on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. Family therapy for youth with mood problems

The Colorado Family Project, a group of clinicians and researchers at CU, is conducting a study of family-based therapy for youth with mood swings and a family history of bipolar disorder. Treatment focuses on helping youth and their families understand and cope with mood swings, develop plans for preventing moods from getting worse, communicate more effectively and solve family problems. Treatment is free of charge, and families are compensated for participation in regular research interviews.

Neuroimaging Study of Brain Development in Adolescence (ages 14-17)

We are looking for kids ages 14-17 to participate in a paid fMRI study on brain development. Participants will spend 1 hr in a MRI scanner performing cognitive tasks and then 1 hr outside of the scanner answering questionnaires. Participants will be paid $50-$60 and will be provided with images of their brain. American Red Cross CPR Certification

The Rec Center is offering an American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certification on Saturday, July 20, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The certification is valid for two years. Rec Center Members $75 Non-Members $90 Register in-person before Friday, July 19 at the Rec Center Cashier Desk.
