Film Showing: Beijing Bicycle

Free film viewing: open to all students, staff and faculty. Please join us for a screening and post-film discussion of the award-winning, Chinese film: "Beijing Bicycle." The plot revolves around a 17-year-old country boy working in Beijing as a courier, who has his bicycle stolen and then finds it in the hands of a schoolboy. Film showing: The Dialogue

Free film viewing: open to all students, staff, faculty. Please join us for a screening of "The Dialogue," a 70-minute documentary that follows four American and four Chinese university students as they travel together through Hong Kong and Southwest China. Intrigued by the complex context of Sino-US relations, together the characters explore elements of meaningful dialogue and cultural identity. Wed., Nov.13, 3 p.m., Wolf Law 206. ENVS Speakers Series brings Adam Brock to CU Nov. 8

Adam Brock will speak at CU Fri, Nov. 8, 3 - 4 p.m. in the CSTPR Conference Room, 1333 Grandview Avenue. Privilege NoThe GrowHaus is an indoor farm and education center in Denver's Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Born and raised in Denver, Brock's design projects include landscapes, businesses and educational programs. The ENVS Speakers Series seminars is a graduate student initiative aimed at providing students and faculty with the opportunity to network with a variety of professionals and researchers from outside the CU-Boulder community.

Global seminar: Art in Spain, Summer 2014, come to an interest meeting

Open to all majors, this global seminar based in Madrid with visits to Barcelona, Granada, Pujol and Figueres offers insights into the rich visual culture of Spain, from Goya to the present, in five weeks. Led by Frances Charteris, the course includes visits to museums and architectural sites; photography and film are covered, as well as flamenco and bullfighting. Informational meetings: Tues.
