ASSETT Camtasia Studio Workshop

Have you ever wanted an easy way to create instructional videos for your classes -- to answer frequently asked questions, cover concepts that often requires more time than the allotted class session, or communicate with students in a different way? A popular method is called “screencasting,” and ASSETT is offering a workshop on how to create screencasts using Camtasia Studio. Eligible participants are A&S faculty of any rank, GPTIs and TAs. Participants will receive a complimentary license for Camtasia Studio. Register by January 22.

Using multiple modes for teaching & learning - GTP spring conference, Jan. 9-10

The Graduate Teacher Program supports the development of graduate teaching scholars and future professionals. Buff OneCard Office holiday hours

The Buff OneCard Office, located in N180 Center for Community, will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 31 in addition to the scheduled University holidays of Dec. 24, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. We will resume our regular schedule of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday on Monday, Jan. 6. The card office can be reached at 303-492-0355 for any questions.

Reminder: The Student Employment Office is accepting nominations for Student Employee of the Year

Now accepting nominations for Student Employee of the Year. Work-study, hourly, and salaried student employees are eligible. First place will receive a $75 gift certificate courtesy of the CU Bookstore and will be nominated for the Western Association of Student Employment Administrators Award. Second place will receive a $50 gift certificate. Complete the nomination form on our website. Deadline: Feb 14. National Student Employment Week is April 13-19, 2014
