Study cross cultural management in The Netherlands this summer. Managing diversity in international business is a challenge that managers need to face. The number of interactions that people of different cultural backgrounds have with one another has exponentially increased in the work place. The international business scenario in Maastricht is a natural lab where you can observe, recognize and analyze most of the business concepts and variables at play to manage successfully across cultures. Shakespeare on-site in London in June

Spend three weeks studying Shakespeare’s work on site – in London. ENGL 3000 Shakespeare for Non-Majors fulfills UD Literature & Arts Core (three credits). Experience Shakespeare’s plays in the context of their first performances and see some live at the Globe Theater. This program is directed by David Glimp and includes field trips to sites such Shakespeare’s hometown. Come learn more on Feb. 12, from 5 - 6 p.m. in C4C S341.

Campus club looking for faculty advisor

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is looking for a faculty advisor in order to begin on campus activities and to become an official university club. NAMI works on providing resources for students who have mental illnesses, providing a safe place for students with mental illnesses to go to and mental illness awareness on campus. Neuroimaging Study of Brain Development in Adolescence (ages 14-17)

We are looking for kids ages 14-17 to participate in a paid fMRI study on brain development in Boulder. Participants will spend 1 hr in a MRI scanner doing cognitive tasks and then 1 hr outside of the scanner answering questionnaires. Participants will be paid $60 and will be provided with images of their brain. To be eligible, you must: *be 14-17 year old *have parental permission *be right-handed *meet MR safety requirements *not have a neurological disorder Interested? Archaeological Institute of America lecture Jan. 15

Guy D.R. Sanders Ph.D., director of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens will present the free Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) lecture, “What’s a Greek Urn? Day Wages, Pottery Prices and Household Goods in Medieval Europe,” 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the Paleontology Hall at the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham and has been the director of the American School of Classical Studies’ Excavations at Corinth since 1997.
