Yule Fest 2012

Come join CU’s Nordic Club to celebrate Yule Fest on Monday, December 3 from 3:30 – 6:00 pm in the UMC Aspen Rooms. We’ll have the Swedish folk band, Bison Polska, performing live music, Swedish and Norwegian holiday crafts, and free food and drinks for all to enjoy.

Well Fed: BRAIN FOOD: NUTRITION, EXAMS, and STRESS

Well Fed is a programming series on women's health and nutrition-- on Friday, Dec. 7, from 12-1 p.m. in the WRC (UMC 416) we will be talking about nutrition and final exam season. What foods and lifestyle habits maximize cognition, while minimizing stress and anxiety? Just how much of an impact can diet have on how you learn, and how you feel? Come hungry, healthy refreshments will be served.

Center of the American West to Screen Documentary Film about Water

The Center of the American West will be presenting a screening of Watershed: Exploring a New Water Ethic for the New West, followed by a panel discussion with Producer James Redford and Filmmaker Mark Decena and prominent Colorado Water experts discussing the Colorado River and its future. Watershed tells the story of the threats to the Colorado River and offers solutions for the future of the American West. The screening and discussion will be held Wed, Dec. 5, @ 6:30 p.m. in Duane Physics, room G1B30. Free and open to the public.

Kitchen Table: Second Meeting

Kitchen Table is a casual, social, and safe space for women of color and multi-ethnic women on campus. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend.
