Supercomputing in Plain English

Interested in Supercomputing but unsure of where to start? Join the Research Computing group every Tuesday from 1 - 2 p.m. from Jan. 22 until Apr. 30 to participate in the Ohio University Supercomputing Center’s live video tutorial. All meetings are held in ATLAS 229. Research Computing professionals will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the tutorial after each session. Study ecology & evolution in the Galápagos Islands - Global Seminar Study Abroad Program

Study ecology and conservation in one of the most biologically diverse locations on the planet: The Galápagos Islands. Obtain hands-on experience in principles and practice of ecology and conservation biology. Also included is a visit to the Bellavista Cloud Forest, a rare and endangered ecosystem in Ecuador. Earn 3 credits on the inaugural voyage of this program next winter interim. Online ENGL 2036 Course: Introduction to Digital Media in the Humanities

Electronic literature is literature that was written on a computer and is intended to be read on a computer. In this course, we’ll ask: What is electronic literature? How has the web changed reading/writing? What are the implications of interdisciplinary practices on literature? At the end of class, you will either write a research paper or create your own work of electronic literature. Register on MyCUInfo portal under “Continuing Education”. On this Global Seminar: Doing Business in China, you will explore topics related to succeeding in China's business environment, visit industrial sites & universities, seek to understand challenges faced by businesses operating in China, and discover key cultural features of China ranging from village life to the Great Wall. Finally, you will be working on a project that requires integration and application of both the academic materials and the experiential components of the Global Seminar.
