Shakespeare On-Site in London in June

Spend three weeks studying Shakespeare’s work on site – in London! ENGL 3000 Shakespeare for Non-Majors fulfills UD Literature & Arts Core (3 credits). Experience Shakespeare’s plays in the context of their first performances and see some live at the Globe Theater. This program is directed by David Glimp and includes field trips to sites such as Windsor Castle and Shakespeare’s hometown. Come learn more on Monday, Jan. 28 from 4-5 p.m. in C4C S341.

NPR's Deborah Amos to speak on Syria's crisis

Veteran NPR foreign correspondent Deborah Amos speaks on "The Arab Spring and Islamism: Stories from the Syrian Frontline" on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 5 p.m. in Eaton Humanities Room 250. Amos has covered the Middle East for decades and has written two books on the region. Her Boulder appearance is sponsored by the Center for Media, Religion and Culture at CU Journalism & Mass Communication.

NPR's Deborah Amos to speak on Syria's crisis

Veteran NPR foreign correspondent Deborah Amos appears on campus Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 5 p.m. in Eaton Humanities Room 250. She'll share her experience and insights from covering the Arab Spring and the crisis in Syria -- events with major implications for the United States and the world. Amos' lecture, "The Arab Spring and Islamism: Stories from the Syrian Frontline" is sponsored by the Center for Media, Religion and Culture at CU Journalism & Mass Communication.

Subjects Needed for Passive Cycling Study $160

The Applied Exercise Science Lab is seeking sedentary male subjects aged 18-55 to study passive cycling (involves a stationary bicycle with a motor rotating the bicycle pedals for you). The experiment will consist of four separate sessions each lasting 4hrs. Benefits of participating include: body composition (% body fat), fitness assessment, bone density, glucose tolerance assessment, and determination of caloric expenditure.
