Conservation & Indigenous Peoples in Tanzania – Global Seminar Study Abroad Program

Students will explore remote conservation areas around the Serengeti on this travelling Global Seminar in Maymester. Learn more about indigenous peoples and conservation in one of the most beautiful and biologically-important regions of the world, study political ecology, culture and development while living amongst indigenous groups such as the Maasai and Hadzabe people. Music and Hearing Aids

CU-Boulder's Hearing Research Lab is looking for adults who wear hearing aids to participate in a study on sound perception. The study focuses on finding out how audio-industry and hearing-aid processing affect music sound quality. The time commitment is approximately 10 hours. CAS Graduate Funding Opportunity: Research Scholarships in Pre-Modern Japanese Studies

STAND @ CU Presents: Hotel Rwanda

Come see Hotel Rwanda - learn about the Rwandan genocide and ways to take action! There will be free food! Friday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in HUMN 150. Synopsis: Hotel Rwanda tackles one of the most horrifically ugly events in recent history, when the Hutu extremists of Rwanda initiated a terrifying campaign of genocide, massacring hundreds of thousands of minority Tutsis (who had been given power by the departed Belgian colonists), while the rest of the world looked on and did nothing. Research Participants needed at University of Colorado at Boulder

Research Participants ages 12-21 needed ADAPT is a place for young people ages 12-21 who are worried about experiencing unusual thoughts, suspiciousness or paranoia, or seeing or hearing things that are not there. Earn $25 for participating in a short screening interview. You may be invited to participate in a 2-year longitudinal study ($25 per hour for 7-9 hours each year).
