Scuba, Snorkel, & Sun Spring Break Trip March 23rd-31st

The week will consist of staying in a house right on the ocean, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and soaking up the sun.

The week will consist of:

*Staying in a house (communal living) on the ocean
*Eating and exploring the area together
*Snorkeling & Scuba Diving (optional). Terry Danko, CUOP's in-house scuba instructor will be facilitating all dives.

Holy week and Easter services at St. Aidan's & Canterbury Colorado

Join us for Holy week and Easter! March 21-23. Stations of the Cross at 12:05 p.m.Maundy Thursday (March 24) 12:05 p.m. and 6 p.m. Good Friday (March 25) 12:05 p.m. and 6 p.m. labyrinth walk. Snow & Ice Spring Break Trip March 23rd-29th !

Come Ski or Snowboard several southern CO resorts, Ice Climb and soak in some natural hot springs along the way. Ski/Snowboard Resorts & Ice Park Include: *Wolf Creek (typically has the most snow in CO!) for Monarch *Lake City Ice Park *On the drive back to Boulder we will stop at Clear Creek Canyon in Golden for one last ice climb Ski/Snowboard Resorts & Ice Park Include: *The Mount Princton Hot Spring on the Way to Wolf Creek *Gunnison Hot Spring the evening before Monarch or Crestted Butte

Modern Day Religions Series- Separation of Church and State (02.12)

Come join the Dennis Small Cultural Center in the UMC 457 this Tuesday, Feb. 12, for a panel discussion made up of multiple faiths. Discover how different faiths think about emerging social issues of today. This week’s topic is on the separation of church and state and it starts at 5pm. As always, delicious, free food will be provided! By church we mean religion (all faiths) not just Christians.

Ice Climbing: Ouray Trip

Head south with the Outdoor Program Mar. 1-3 for 2 days of ice climbing in the new Ouray! We will drive to Lake City and spend 2 nights in the local hostel before walking 10 minutes to the climbs. Learn the basics of top-rope ice climbing, and how to use all the gear that is involved. All climbing gear and transportation is provided. Family Therapy for Youth with Mood Problems

The Colorado Family Project, a group of clinicians and researchers at CU-Boulder, is conducting a study of family-based therapy for youth with mood swings and a biological parent with bipolar disorder. Treatment focuses on helping youth and their families understand and cope with mood swings, develop plans for preventing moods from getting worse, communicate more effectively, and solve family problems. Treatment is free of charge, and families are compensated for participation in regular research interviews

Brownbag for staff and faculty: What International Students Need

How do international students differ from their domestic classmates? What special rules apply to them? Get answers to these and many other questions you (or colleagues) may have about the needs of international students studying at CU-Boulder. Two Office of International Education staff with over 50 years of experience (combined) working with international students will answer questions and engage in conversations about services for international students. Fulbright Grant Information Meeting – Wed. Feb. 6 at 3 p.m.

CU-Boulder is a top producing campus of U.S. Student Fulbright grants. Come to an information meeting to learn how you can apply for a Fulbright grant to do overseas study/research or to be an English teaching assistant overseas. These grants are for U.S. citizens who will have at least a bachelor's degree at the time the grant starts and have not completed a Ph.D. at the time of application. Where: UMC 386, Wed.
